Cinemagic will be screening "Bus 174" a Brazilian documentary film about a bus hijacking that occurred in Rio de Janeiro by a young man from a poor background, bungled a robbery and ended up holding the passengers on a bus hostage for four hours.. The event will take place at the Cinemagic Rooftop Venue above LG Electronics, Old Salmiya.

"Baran" will be screened on Thursday, March 6th , Oscar-nominated director Majid Majidi (Children of Heaven) tells the story of Afghan refugees through the perspective of young Iranian boy. In present-day Tehran, a teenager named Lateef falls in love with Rahmat, a young Afghan immigrant. Eventually, Rahmat reveals a devastating secret that changes both of them forever. Majidi once again uses non-professional actors for a more realistic look at Afghan and Iranian culture, almost a silent movie.
